A New Door for Young People in the Heart of Europe: Prague Youth Association (PYA)
The association, with its motto “Building Bridges, Constructing a Stronger Europe,” aims to increase international opportunities for young people, particularly within the framework of the Erasmus+ program. PYA not only runs projects but also provides guidance and logistical support to schools, youth groups, and volunteers in the Erasmus+ process.
Projects Focused on Education, Environment, and Integration
The Prague Youth Association’s areas of activity cover a wide range. Its priority areas include:
European Integration and Active Citizenship: Encouraging young people’s participation in European Union projects to contribute to their becoming active European citizens.
A Sustainable Future: Raising environmental awareness and raising awareness on issues such as recycling and waste reduction.
Inclusion and Integration: Providing language support, practical assistance, and support for the social integration process for refugees and asylum seekers.
Volunteering and Personal Development: Helping young people develop their self-confidence, motivation, and leadership skills by offering them volunteering opportunities.
A Professional Team, A Strong Future
The association’s founding team consists of experienced individuals specializing in different fields. Led by President Tural Sadirkhanov, who combines management and coordination skills with Erasmus+ experience, the team includes entrepreneur Maxim Kovtun, Yana Krychafalushiy, who presents psychology and entrepreneurship sessions, and photographer Anton Gorbenko, who increases the association’s visibility through visual storytelling.
A Call for Young People
The Prague Youth Association invites educators, schools, and youth organizations across Europe to participate in Erasmus+ collaborations and introduce young people to these opportunities. Based on the belief that “the future belongs to the youth,” PYA aims to build a community where young people are supported, trusted, and build cross-border connections.
